    In this poem the poet describes about the beautiful landscape of America but he says that due to the carelessness of the people the houses and the landscape has become desolate. The author says that the building oh house and the rail roads has taken away the beauty of the nature and the landscape. The author emphasizes on the fact that the human being need to maintain a balance between the nature and the human activities.

    A balance between the nature and the technology is a must for the human being to coexist between with nature.

    In the poem the poet describes about the house that stands alone, the poet says that the house is standing alone and no tree or shrubs are surrounding the house. The only thing that is visible around the house is the Railroad Track.
