    William Carlos Willams poem called the "Landscape with the fall of Icarus" is based upon the painting of Brueghel's about Icarus. While Brueghel's painting is inspired by the mythic character from a Greek tragedy the poem of William describes details and rely on Brueghel's perspective about Icarus death. The poem star with the excerpt bellow, showing William used Brueghel's painting as reference for the poem.
