    The frequent consequence of social stratification is inequality. Social stratification is a practice in a society or a system in a society wherein it ranks or classifies the people in the community based on specific standards. It places those who meet the standards closely in a higher hierarchy therefore, those people that are in the higher hierarchy of the society enjoys greater wealth, power and privileges over those who are placed in the lower part of the hierarchy that left us with a clear manifestation of inequality among people.
