Read this passage:

Getting to work was the best part of Kailin's day. As she made her way into downtown Los Angeles, the day always seemed to be new and filled with possibility. No one had yelled at her for transferring a call incorrectly yet or made her feel stupid for forgetting to check a visitor's ID badge. As she stepped into her building, she hoped that today would be the day she showed her coworkers that she was good enough to work there.

    Exposition is the answer. It is the introductory part of the story which explains the setting, characters and the environment. This is obvious because this excerpt tells the name of the character and the setting of the story.
