Reading a book, delicately flipping the rough; old pages, the man was so intrigued.

    A semi-colon is used to separate two sentences with two very similar ideas. Where a semi-colon can go, a full stop can also go. Therefore, this sentence was wrong since putting a full stop between two adjectives that describe the same noun is a mistake.
