Ben is usually a logical person, but he recently failed an important test for veterinary school and is now consumed with negative thoughts and self-criticisms. He's so upset that he can't even think about what to do next. He hates writing about his feelings, so he doesn't know what to do to cheer himself up. What would be the best strategy to keep Ben committed to his goal?

If he likes to talk, he should call a friend and explain what happened.

If he likes to read, he should find an inspirational book about not giving up.

He should make sure his diet stays balanced during this stressful time.

He should forget about going to veterinary school and find something else to do.
