What kind of appeal do you think is most effective for making the argument that American should fight for independence

I think that a good appeal that is always valid for a country or people in order to fight for its independence is that values, principles, costumes and background are worthwhile enough to be defended in freedom and not in a condition of a country dominated by others. Self determination is one of the best values a country or people can have along its history and present life.
