You are a supervisor and have two employees from the same cultural background (different

from your own) who have not been meeting their performance standards lately. They report

that they have been entertaining family and friends while observing a religious holiday the past

few days and thus, they have not been as attentive to work. How would you handle this?

I would personally tell them to get there head in the game or their getting fired because I'm even if you have something going on you have a job for a reason and you have to earn something so if you want it you should probably work hard for it.

I would give them some extra workday off so they can meet family and pray and such

First of all this is a business question not an English one
