    Explanation:

    Some greatest scientist estimated that the age of earth will be 4.54 billion years and the age of universe will be 13.772 billion. So from above we can say that the age of universe is greater that the age of earth.

    Universe consists all existing matter as well as space. We can say that collection of all stares and galaxies is called universe. On the other hand earth is a planet, where we are living.
