The important cause of political conflict in the regions of "Central America" is that there is a shortage of available farmland to meet the needs of a growing population.

    Explanation:

In the last census, the average population growth rate for Central America was recorded to be around 7%. The Central American region is one of the fastest-growing regions, whereas, the state of Colorado is the "second fastest-growing state" in the US. This rate of rise in the population is causing the available farmlands to fall short in producing sufficient yield to meet the needs of the population. The businesses that are growing in this region are mainly that of real estate and trading. These businesses are also occupying more and more agricultural lands causing minor political conflicts.
