It can provide a feeling of community and hope knowing that there is something bigger than yourself. It is a way to come together, foster beliefs in a safe environment, and practice personal values.

People participate in religion because of their own imperfection, searching for moral values, fear, things that they can not explain and understand, in some cases learning and maintaining balance with the nature, as well as power and dominance.
