Say that your friend is standing on Earth, which is warping spacetime. He flashes a pulse of light into space once every second (frequency of 1 pulse per second). You are in a spaceship far from Earth, watching these pulses and recording how much time passes between each. Given the effects of time dilation described here, how will the frequency of the pulses from your perspective compare to the frequency seen by your friend, who is standing with the light source?

    Answer:You will see a lower frequency pulse

    Explanation:The closer you are to the light source the higher the frequency that you will see but as you move further away it is more likely that you will see the lower frequency due to your distance from it.
