The statement is true. People migrated through the Bering Land Straight in North America and South America during the last ice age. They had few attempts, and they predominantly migrated and moved from north to south along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean because the oceanic influence in the coastal region made the climate much more milder, and the ocean was also providing a lot of food for the first settlers of the Americas.
