The Nile River flows through Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Egypt. However, Egypt has unchallenged in its full right over the river throughout thousands of years. And that right has been backed up by a water treaty from colonial times, as well as an agreement with Sudan (1959).
