Migration of people from rural areas to urban areas

Have you heard of push and pull factors! So, those in a rural area may have no job and no school etc - these would be push factors, pushing them out of the rural area I guess you could say - and a city, the pull, would have schools, medical facilities and housing. This would cause the migration of people from rural areas to urban.
