    D. Its dominant religion is Christianity

    Explanation:

Ethiopia is a Christian country, unlike the likes of Sudan and Egypt which are Muslim. In fact, maybe comes as a surprise, but Ethiopia is one of the first countries that adopted the Christian faith, and it is one of the countries in which this religion has been practiced the longest. Unlike the other countries in Africa where the Christianity came with the European colonization, in Ethiopia that was not the case. The Ethiopians were close to the birthplace of this religion, and since they were in constant touch with the Middle East, they encountered this religion right at its beginnings, liked it, and willingly adopted it as their religion.
