What do you notice about the similarity and difference of the French Revolution to the American Revolution - be specific, explain your answer and support it with specific evidence.

    The American Revolution was the revolt in colonies of New England between 1765 and 1783. It was fought between the American patriots assisted by France and fought the British and gained their independence while the french revolution was the upheaval in France and its colonies which started in 1789 with storming of fort of Bastille. It was a revolt of french Third estate against the monarchy and the other two estates. Both the revolutions were against the absolute rule. In America, it was against the British rule while in France, it was against the Monarchical rule caused by the economic instability created from the war debt. In France, the third estate faced social inequality while the American colonialists faced unequal treatment from the British king, both the revolutions were affected by the enlightenment ideas.
