    The event that caused Japan to quickly grow a highly productive manufacturing economy was the fact that they were supported by the Marshall Plan which was intended on rebuilding Europe and Japan after World War II - C. Through the plan, they were able to educate their workforce in a relatively short amount of time become a very important global power.
