    Japanese Reconstruction started in 1945 after the end of the WWII. It was divided in three phases: In phase 1, (1945 - 1947) major changes were made regarding the society and Government. In phase 2, was called "reverse course" and lasted until 1950, and the central action in this phase was rehabilitation of Japanese economy. Phase 3 began in 1950 and Japanese future regarding politics and economy was established. A peace treaty was secured. The final phase of the agreement let the US keep their forces in Okinawa and in other places in Japan, and the US also promised a bilateral security pact to Japan.
