    President George W. Bush cut taxes to stimulate the economy. During his term President Bush is renowned to be cutting taxes which in turn people referred to it as the Bush tax cuts. His program which is the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 lowered the tax rate for every US taxpayers.
