Martin Luther King is one of the most significant figures from the Western History. He has penned a document attacking the Catholic Church during the 1517. He exposed the corrupt practice of the Catholic Church in selling "indulgences" to absolve sin. His 95 Theses had two central beliefs that spark the Protestant Reformation or enlightenment. These two beliefs were: the Bible is the central religious authority and that humans may reach the salvation only by their faith and not by their deeds. He used this to spark religious reformation and soon Protestantism emerged and changed the course of religious and cultural history in the West.
