What made the Arabian Peninsula important for trade? Its geography and location! It was a crossroads for Asia, Africa, and Europe. Also, is was surrounded by bodies of water (Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, Arabian See and Persian Gulf) Sea and land routes connected Arabia to major trade centers

Because it connected to major water trade routes, Arabian sea and the Mediterranean sea.
Located on the Asian continent, in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia occupies most of the desert Arabian peninsula. Its territory borders Jordan (to the northwest), Iraq (to the north), Kuwait (to the northeast), Qatar (to the east), United Arab Emirates (to the east), Oman (to the southwest), Yemen (to the south), besides being bathed by the Persian Gulf (to the east) and the Red Sea (to the west).
