What were some similarities between World War I and World War II that might back up the idea that World War II was a continuation of World War I?

    Answer: yeah, some historians really argue that WW I and WW II form one world conflict. There are some reasons that back up this idea. Both wars were initiated by European powers, especially by those who felt being disadvantaged in relation to colonial powers. This feeling prevailed especially in Germany. Germany (both in the WW I and WW II Germany was authoritarian state: 1) Wilhelmian Germany, 2) the Third Reich) played crucial role.

    Explanation: The most important argument for the continuity of both conflicts are the German claims ... for more power in world politics or for the status of world power.
