Japanese-Americans were forced from their homes and relocated to interment camps in compliance to President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Executive Order 9066.

EO 9066 states that all West Coast residents of Japanese ancestry be designated as "enemy aliens" whether they are U. S. citizens or not.
