    Philip II was assassinated by one of his 07 bodyguards, named "Pausanias of Orestis". Why? well no one knows for certain. He was killed by the soldiers while trying to escape after the assassination.

    Alexander conquered nearly half of the known world back at the 3rd century B. C. It was the largest empire at the time, touching 3 continents and stretching from Greece to North-Western India. But Alexander DID NOT FORCE the people of the occupied areas to adapt the Greek way of life!

    One of the principle reasons for Alexander's victories was his superior supply chain. The Macedon supply chain tactics allows the Macedonian army and the cavalry to move much faster and act more flexibly than their much stronger opponents.

    The Hellenistic age started from Alexander connected the knowledge of East with West. Bringing about more advancements in various fields. The famous city of Alexandria founded by Alexander in Egypt eventually became the Capital of all ancient wisdom and knowledge!
