    Explanation: Delhi sultanate was a important factor Indian history of kingdom. Delhi sultanate was one of the longest time reigning rulers in the India. The duration of the Delhi sultanate was from 1206 to 1526. There were five dynasty during the sultanate. The sultanate started ruling over India when Muhammad of Ghor defeated Prithvi Raj in 1192 and caotured Delhi.

    However, during the long period of the sultanate many changes happened to India. Among them the cultural fusion was major. The ruler of the sultanate were the followers of Islam and the most of the people of India were Hindu faith. Both of them had huge difference in culture. But when they came to know each other for a long time many cultural tradition was exchanged between them. Many Muslim from the Sultanate got married to the Hindu girls. As a result the cultural mixing happened and Islam was spread in the India. The rulers of the sultanate also adopted many tradition from the Indian culture.

    Therefore, it can be said that the answer of the question is option C.
