    The correct answer here is D. Jefferson cleverly used complaints against the British government. He listed all the offenses the British Crown committed against the colonists in order to get people angry and in order for people see that they were wronged. Jefferson also appealed to the intellect of his audience by explaining his idea of the government and its purpose which according to him is to ensure the rights of its people.
