Why there were so many diverse societies in the Americas before Europeans arrived?

Even before the arrival of Europeans in America, the native people already have political and economic structures and even developed diverse social structures due to the fact that the Aztec a Empire influences and spreads all throughout the large scale in Northern American culture. This maize introduces the greater urban density and led to diversification of societies in early Americans.
