A democracy is said to be, "a government of the people and for the people." what does that mean?

    people were elected from the community and served to fully fulfill the needs of their citizens

    This means that people of this country will be in the government as in "oh, this will be run by one of us" and the for the people part that just basically saying that, this ill not be a dictatorship and this will not be a autocracy, we are running based on what the people want an how they want it"
