Briefly describe englands efforts to colonize north america

England attempted to colonize in America due to the vast lands which created an abundant amount of opportunities for business, trade, and agriculture. The Americas had new animals that England has never seen before and food such as corn that was newly introduced. England was exposed to so many new materialistic items that they would do whatever it took to gain these colonies such as battle other European powers, take down the Indians, and keep importing African American slaves to do the work for them. Soon people were fed up with how the King of England was treating these colonies with tax after tax and then the war for independence began, leaving the American colonies victorious.
