How do the 27 amendments reflect americans' changing values and ideals

They stand for what the nations want to stand for and the rights

They reflect how the society changes ethically, socially, progressively and repressively some times. One era does not allow women to vote and then progressive people changed that, another era banned alcohol and another era allowed it again. One more gave people civil rights, and other eras did other things. It depends always on the spirit of the age.
