Why are discussions about politics considered controversial?

Politics debates and discussion are usually for the nations economy or government issues statuses. There are many things that are discuss in this matter and due to it people may be affected to this matter its because the said discussion may affect the social, physical or maybe economical status of the country that could somewhat have a negative to its people. So in addition, this matter is very controversial to everyone becasue they are directly affected in to it.
