    The reason why Germany is considered the center is because of the fact that the main man who started the reformation, Martin Luther, lived as a priest at the Catholic Church here. It is also here where the first steps toward the reformation were taken, as Luther wrote and posted the ninety-five theses on the front door of the Catholic Church protesting against the Church's corruptness.

    The Reformation began in Germany in 1517 because an Augustinian monk named Martin Luther, who lived in Germany, wrote "95 Theses" protesting the Pope's selling indulgences ... Because Luther was very outspoken about his feelings, the Reformation started in Germany and spread.
