The myth is Rome was founded by twin sons Romulus and Remus who were raised by a she-wolf, the she-wolf is like a god she brings roman soldiers (demigod children to stay with to see if they can survive and be warriors) the twins pretty much changed the gods names and some of the things they do to the ways of Roman, There is a mixture of both roman and Greek gods (Zeus is called Jupiter in roman culture) there was some gods that were only roman gods. One goddess didn't appreciate the way romans changed her (Athena was a lesser goddess then when she was Greek) when the romans took Athena's Statue she was enraged.
