Being a well-known sea pioneer and an adventurer Columbus found a realistic sea route to America was discovered by him. He along with his squad landed on a new island and named it Isla Santa.

He looked out for the western sea route to China, India and Asia. He never understood that South America was a distinct zone. It was he who encouraged colonization in America.

Columbus was the believer of bible and he wrote a book that was on praise of Christian prophets. His voyages and the artifacts were the most cherished relics in America.
