    The Emergency Immigration Act of 1921 and The National Origins Act of 1924

    Explanation:

    During the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, The United States of America had a bug problem with immigrants coming to live in the States (mostly European).

    The homogeneity of Americans was continuously questioned. So, the citizens of the U. S. felt the need to protect their country from a massive number of foreigners and their culture (nativism).

    Two very restrictive acts were passed, The Emergency Immigration Act of 1921 and The National Origins Act of 1924, to limit the entrance of immigrants in the U. S.
