    Answer: Collecting taxes.

    Concurrent powers are the sharing of powers by the Federal Government and the states, which can be exercised at the same time; the collection of taxes, for example. They are different from Reserved powers, those exercised only by the Federal Government.

    Drafting of soldiers, coining money and establishing schools are not under the Concurrent powers.
