The french owned most of central america ranging down from Montreal to modern day Louisiana

Basically, France owned everything west from the Appalachian Mountains ... as far down as Louisiana extending up to the Eastern Canadian Coastline as well as being far out into Minnesota. This was due to the Treaty of Utrecht btw.
