Which court case involved the university of texas at austin encouraging african american students to attend a black law school that had been set up by texas to provide a separate but equal education for black texans?

    This controversial case is the Sweatt v. Painter case wherein Sweatt was not able to enrol in the School of Law at the University of Texas. According to the school administrator Theophilus Painter, they can not allow Sweatt to enrol because it was against the constitution of the state of Texas.
