How does the New England primer directly link religious obligation with obedience to political authority and to parents

The New England Primer incorporated the Catechism. Day by day recitations of it was required at these schools. Their educational programs included a remembrance of the Westminster Confession and the Westminster Larger Catechism. There was not a man at Independence Hall in 1776 who had not been presented to it.
