How well did the convention method succeed in improving upon the caucus method?

    In the Caucus method, it allows the party methods to get together in their own district and support for their presidential candidate. Meanwhile, in the convention method, it waits for the caucus to complete in their state, then hold a national convention in which the nomination of party's presidential candidate is announced formally.
