The Battle of Agincourt brought an end to the chivalric code as the French realized that the chivalric structure of the army was responsible for their defeat.

    Explanation:

The already tired army led by Henry V was being directed to Calais in order to reach England. But the English army was confronted by a comparatively large and energetic French army on their way back. It was due to the heavy chivalric structure and the weapons used by the French in the war, they had to suffer a miserable defeat. After this defeat at Agincourt, the French ended the chivalric code.
