Colonists were having problems with Native Americans because Colonist came right in not really asking to be on the land and making towns and villages. There was a language difference which caused difficulty trying to communicate between colonists and Native Americans. And Colonist went around killing and also brought diseases along with them. Which were killing Native Americans. But Colonists were also killing Natives with their bare hands.

The problem was that the colonists were trying to take away a land which belonged to another people. Some native americans were able to let them go and enable them to live in peace where they chose, other native americans decided they would opt for the more harmful choice.
