American indians had a diferent relationship with land, which was based on a profound relationship with nature and the agricultural cycle. American indian's proces of production was intimately related with nature and agricultural activities such as rituals, dances, myths, etc.
Land to European cultures where one of the most important ways to secure economic growth and power. Land was private property and fland was worked by farmers, the lowest social class, in terms of productive forces. Land production was one of the most important ways to secure economic growth and power for Europe as an asset of their territory and geopolitical expansion.
