How might a drop in price for washing machines affect the demand for dryers? the demand for dryers would have no relation to the changing prices of washing machines. the demand for dryers would most likely increase as the price for washing machines dropped. the demand for dryers would most likely decrease as the price for washing machines dropped. the demand for dryers would only be affected by an increase in the price of washing machines.

    I believe the answer is: The demand for dryers would most likely increase as the price for washing machines dropped.

    Dryers are known to be the complementary product for the drying machines. (poeple wouldn't have the dryers if they do not have any washing machines)

    When the price of washing machine dropped, people would have more disposable income, which increase the likelihood of them buying additional dryers to complement their washing machine.
