    The economy collapsed, people lost their jobs and money saving in the banks.

    Explanation:

    Farmers lost their lands, because they could not pay mortgage payment. Only in United States 1/4 of them was affected. The depression started spreading outside States. Americans asked the loans to be paid off, while economical depression was hitting Europe. Some countries, such as Germany were devastated. In France, by 1935 million people were without a job.
