Mr. hunt lived in ohio in 1843. he was concerned about the amount of federal debt. what would have been mr. hunt's view of texas joining the united states?

    Mr. Hunt would not have wanted Texas to join the United States. Texas did not have any money after it joined the United States. If Mr. Hunt was concerned about federal debt, he wouldn’t have wanted to add any more debt to the country.
