    This 1960 election saw many new ideas and results that popped up due to various reasons.

    Explanation:

    Even today many of us remember about the 1960 elections which actually took place more than fifty years before. It is only because of the new principles and ideas that were followed by the candidates in order to win the presidential election held at that time. The election of 1960 was very important in American history. When we take a count of individual states count, Richard Nixon was leading than Kennedy but he won more key states with more electoral votes.

    It became more significant because it was the first election were more than fifty states participated. There were different political orders and norms followed during this period. A number of factors modified the way how people looked at this election.
