The transcendentalism and the second great awakening took a big religious change to American culture. It was the second historic movement in United States where there were more religious conversions and deep beliefs in god, the unity with him and with the soul. For its part, the second great awakening propitiated the Mormons movement and their churches, the same with the Christians. While the transcendentalism always looked for take the unity of world, man and god. Both contributed to the religious culture in United States and the emergence of their churches.
