Dreyfus who was wrongly convicted of treason suffered much but endured the degradation with honor and his head held high. They marched him to the center of the square and the public was ecstatic as they were mislead to think he was a traitor. It was agonizing but remembering his wife and child he managed to endure the horrifying experience.
